More on Lauren:

Dance experience: I started dancing at age six in a children’s theater show. Then I started in some real classes: jazz, tap and ballet. As I got older, I progressed into different styles of dance, trying new things such as hip-hop and contemporary. I have been involved with a community theater show called Best of Broadway for the past 10 years and was a part of my studio’s semi-professional dance company called Dance Theater West for the past six years. Dance has always and will always be my true passion. I would be lost without dance in my life!

One thing people do not know about you: I am a FANATICAL list maker and organizer!!

Is this your full-time job: No, I am a full-time student who is transferring to UC Davis!

Career goal:Ultimately, I would love to move to New York to be on Broadway because I am really into musical theater (and I can sing as well!!). However, since that dream can be a bit far-fetched, my Plan B is to finish school with degrees in dance and public relations and possibly work in the public relations field.

Favorite TV show:Oh, too many to count! I suppose my absolute favorites are “Gossip Girl,” “One Tree Hill,” “Project Runway” and “So You Think You Can Dance!”

Favorite quote: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." -Eleanor Roosevelt.

Hidden Talent: I am a REALLY good bowler.....maybe I should go pro!

Favorite season: Winter....because of Christmas and my birthday!

Favorite color: Red or any shade of blue.

Favorite city in the world: I went to Paris about two years ago and fell in love with the city. Everything about it: the architecture, the people and the overall atmosphere was spectacular!

Favorite song: I don’t really have a favorite song...I honestly love all different genres of music. I listen to alternative rock, pop, classic oldies (like Queen, Journey and Def Leopard), some country (I love Rascal Flatts!), and even rap and R&B when I'm in the mood!!

Thing you cannot live without: It may be cliché, but I cannot live without the people in my life who support and love me through the good and bad times...and the people who at the end of the day will be there for me no matter what!

Dancer on the team who knows you best: As of this point, I would have to say either Carly or Kelly... I've spent the most time with them and have gotten to know them pretty well! But I have to say I love every girl on the team and think everyone is so amazing in their own way and hope to form life-long friendships with each and every one of them!

Favorite Kings community appearance: So far, I really loved The Ronald McDonald House appearance. There were so many volunteers there, so it was really nice to see how many people help out and do some great community service work in the area. The Ronald McDonald House is a wonderful organization in itself. The help they give families who are going through rough times in their lives is truly a wonderful thing, and it was so great to be able to help those families a bit more just by showing our support! But I know that the season is young and there will be many other great community service appearances to be apart of!!

Favorite SKDT Dance Routine: There are too many to choose from, but I suppose one of my favorites is our sassy jazz routine that is a music mix of The Pussycat Dolls and Man-eater!

Favorite SKDT costume: With it being my first season on the team, I don’t exactly have a favorite outfit yet....but I am so excited to see all the great costumes we will be wearing and I am sure I will have a favorite one by the end of the season!

One thing people do not know about the SKDT: The public most likely does not realize how much work really goes into being on the SKDT. Whether it be going to practices, rehearsing on your own time, and even going to appearances, it’s like a full-time job! But at the end of it all, it is well worth all the time and hard work put into it because it is truly a passion and what I love to do!

Favorite matchup: I can’t really say because the season hasn't started yet...but just being a spectator and a fan watching the game, who doesn't love the rivalry between the Kings and the Lakers!!

Favorite thing about Kings fans: The fans are LOYAL, ROWDY, and OUTGOING! Kings fans are the most spirited fans, in my opinion, in the entire NBA!

Favorite thing to eat at Carl's Jr.?: CrissCut fries and a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger...YUMMY! Oh, and don’t forget the chocolate milkshake!

What are you looking forward to during the 2008-09 Kings season?: I am really looking forward to making great new friendships, learning some killer dance routines and obviously performing for the BEST NBA fans in the league!!! GO KINGS!
